Kaitlyn and Jeremy first crossed paths in December 2021, after a couple of weeks consisting of long phone calls they met for their first date in January of 2022. Since that first date they would meet every two weeks. In July after subtle attempts of singing “Can’t help falling in love with you.” Jeremy chose the moment to tell Katie he loved her. For 14 months the pair travelled between the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba. Before transferring to the Sunshine Coast Katie would drive Wednesday evening to Pacific Paradise and return back to Toowoomba early Monday morning. Since relocating to the Sunshine Coast Katie & Jeremy have enjoyed creating and sharing a space together. The joy and closeness they shared was only amplified when they welcomed Chappy the Corgi into the family in July 2023. In July of 2024 Jeremy whisked Katie away on a spontaneous weekend away in Sydney, arriving late Friday night the pair strolled around Circular Quay admiring the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House under the stars. The next morning Katie walked with Jeremy to the Sydney Observatory, as the pair looked out onto Darling Harbour a light rain set in. They took cover Jeremy got down onto one knee and shared with Katie his love for her and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Katie of course said yes and after a celebratory embrace Katie spotted a shadowed figure out of the corner of her eye approaching them. Thinking they were about to be caught in a unpleasant situation she turned quickly only to see the photographer Jeremy had hired to capture the special moment. Katie and Jeremy are not only excited to share a most special day with their loved ones but are also looking forward to traveling and welcoming another corgi into their growing family.
